Hello everyone, as some of you are aware. I'm just starting to learn the stock market. I have less then about a month's experience if you even wanna call it that. Right now i'm pretty much running on faith and dreams.

My goal is to do my first real money trade at the beginning of 08 so I have alot to learn in a short period of time. I have two books that I bought that i've just started to read, so i'm really trying.

The reason I started this thread is for organization. I figure instead of making 1000 posts with different questions that I have, I could just keep it to one.

Let the learning begin.

Question #1 bidding and asking price. I was on ameritrade today looking at a stock and when I brought up the buy screen it said bid .0009 ask .0010. Whats the price for it?

Depends how big a hurry you are in. 0010 if in a hurry to buy, 0009 if in a hurry to sell. prices change constantly with most stocks

I just finished reading Lesson 1 in stock 101. I'm starting to understand MA LINES but my question is this. why on the charts do the ma lines end showing the price of the stock as between .035 and .04 cents but the stock is selling for .05 cents.

wait i think i got it! that means the best time to buy that stock would be around .35 cents to .40 cents because that stock hasn't went under that 20 ma support line in the past 20 days.

wait i think i figured it out what that is telling me is that the best time to buy the stock would be when its between .35 and .40 because it hasn't gone under its .35 ma support line in the past 20 days.

Heres my advice.Not sure how much $$$ you have,but if it's only a little bit,then keep saving until you have at least 50 grand to daytrade with.I didn't read any of your other posts except the 1st one.If your not gonna daytrade fulltime then don't trade any pennies at all and if you have about 50 grand don't trade pennies either.Move over to the bigboard stocks and study that way,be patient and it's a slow and steady move not a get rich quick game.
