Cool Re: Finding the bottom - Pincher charts?

Hey naam

sorry for the multicollinearity but I spend way more time studying charts than I should, and am always trying and testing new ideas and indicators, settings, etc

a friend of mine also spends way too much time "tweaking" his charts and he recently added a Full Sto overlay to his PPO

As a long term trader this is something u must play around with and check out IMHO. Please add this overlay and test current and past pinchers

you are looking for PPO to touch STO when sto is completely bottomed (flatlined) for a buy or STO completely maxed and flatlined when PPO touches it as a sell

GM Weekly Chart from 2002 with Full Sto overlay on PPO

F Daily Chart from 2002 with Full Sto overlay on PPO

Screen shot of how to add Full Sto overlay

r u able to see the overlays on the charts I post?

if so, look at TCK/B.TO charts below

TCK/B.TO daily

I will be using the 60 min chart for entry and when I see the PPO getting close to touching STO at the bottom and vise versa for sell.
I will be using normal methods on 60 min chart (RSI, Wm %R, Trix, etc) since although the PPO\STO appear to give positive gains every time, they do not nail the exact bottom or top of a run

the difference in values is because mine is an overlay and seems completely different for some reason - haven't figured out why yet.

pretty sweet, eh?

here are a couple of your pinchers with the Full STO overlay.

u can see that u want to buy as soon as they touch but the chart looks a little scary right when the touch and normally u would wait to enter for more confirmation
