The processes used to recover oil from those oil shale deposits are expensive and environmentally disasterous. The oil is there for sure but we dont know how to safely get it yet. Lots of people are working on the problem I am sure because the rewards for finding a solution are huge.
We havnt found them yet.

but the Report is true.
It's a fact that there is more oil in the Colorado rockies
than any place in the World.
But companies in this country say; it's too exspensive to drill.
Well, it's the same story all the time, it cost too much money
We are the richest country in the world, but can't effort drilling for oil.

As much as I know - 3 american companies were assigned by the Gov.
to start drilling there.

Shell, Chevron (I think) and a small private company out of Texas that I can't remember the name of right now. They're all in the preliminary development stages at the present time and we won't see anything happening for several years or more IMO.

LBPE - Liberty Petroleum Corporation .006x.03 is a fuel trader in NY (you can find them if you google it) and when I called them up using Pinksheets profile phone number, I was told that they have Rocky Mountain and Nevada oil leases.....to clarify that they're not involved with Australian oil leases
