AJMHO!

Josh

I really do not grasp the "fibonacci" retrace principal but I understand your citing the levels of support. When you say "60 EMA" is that a 60 week estimated moving average?

Also I read your second post. That I understand clearly & agree with 100%. Those adjustable mortgages snatched up by many people that didn't understand what they were getting into as well as a lot of people that didn't exercise the discipline to put the monthly savings to work instead of spending it.

I've had a large holding in a deferred compensation account which was entirely invested in a very good performing Mid Cap Growth fund for 16 years. This Summer I moved 95% to a bond fund & intend to keep it there until the dust settles. Like Nemo I felt the Dow was over priced & even though I knew that adjustable mortgages might impact the market I had no idea it would be as bad as it has turned out to be. Anyway that's why I take interest in your thread. Again, thanks for your insights!

I hope this bruising is over in time for a Santa Claus rally in December

Looks like the broader markets are even effecting some of the better stocks. If this keeps up there will be some huge bargains out there.

It started the day with gains. I wonder if the momentum down is just too strong. Not every stock is doing poorly so there should be more balance. Tends to lend credibility to Nemos statement that they really pumped up the entire market on the strength of the companies that are doing good. & if Josh is right & the markets drop to 11,600 I will read everything he posts from here on out! LOL

Markets showing some weakness before the bell. I'm being patient & will not move anything till we see the Dow at *12,500* if it drops that far. I have to say with the way oil's going I'm surprised we saw this much strength. Evetually the price of fuels has got to take a toll.

Check that,,,12,000
