Exclamation A valuable lesson learned on StockHideout

Just thought I'd add this .... we had the pleasure of a very informative chat session today here at StockHideout, and, with stock_analyzer's permission, I'd like to provide a link to an edited and archived copy of that lesson to everyone here.

download here in text format

If this is inappropriate, or if anyone mentioned has an issue with it appearing here, please let me know asap and I will remove it.

I will try and put a few mini lessons together at each chat session so we can learn more and more as a team. I am glad you all enjoyed the talk and I will look forward to many more

One thing I want to mention that might not have been clear in the lesson now that I read over it, If a HAMMER is on the bottom of a downtrend then it is a sign of a "possible" reversal going into a UPTREND.

Now if you see a HAMMER on TOP of a uptrend, watch carefully the next day. We call the HAMMER on TOP of a uptrend a "Hanging Man" this again is a POSSIBLE trend reversal, going into a downtrend.

So hammers are either "hammer" for uptrend to start

or

Hanging Man (same pattern black or white looking hammer) that is at the TOP of a uptrend signaling a possible downtrend coming.

Remeber all of these are "possibilities" not guarentees.

For all who had heard my gripes in the chat room yesterday, My fear in a quick motion ran out of my body and now serenity has filled my mind. But penny, do you really see tnog forming a base NOW. I can see maybe for a quick play but that is too risk for me. I even think we might see a down gapper.

And I really appreciate you guys putting this together. Congrats!
