First time buyer of OTCBB stocks...

...and I'm thinking of opening an Ameritrade account. Anything I should know before executing an OTCBB trade through them? Is it usually pretty easy to get in and out at the desired points, and how easy is it to purchase large quantities of shares (via Ameritrade)?

not sure about Ameritrade. Aside from a few snags here and there I have been happy with Scottrade.

i use ameritrade izone!!1
no problem in filling orders!!!
like their $5 commission for unlimited shares of all stocks including pinks
but now with rumors of e-trade buying ameritrade don't know if fee stays
the same but if u need no frills ameritrade izone way to go
just my opinion

buying large quantities is usually the easy part,trying to sell em can be a different story,depends on the volume,the stock,and your sell price.etc etc.

Is it common (or not) to have problems selling at a desired price?

I have both accounts. If you look at the whole picture, then Scottrade is definately good in many ways. I can transfer funds from my bank and it will be available to use the next day for whatever purchase I want to make. But commissions slowly add up with Scottrade, which is the bad part.

With Ameritrade, once you make a bank transfer, you have to wait 5 days in order to use those funds for OTCBB stocks. That really sucks. You also need to maintain $5000 with IZONE.
