    Overview:

    Applied DNA Sciences, Inc. is engaged in developing deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) embedded biotechnology security solutions in the United States. The Company uses the DNA of plants and technologies to provide anti-counterfeiting and product authentication solutions, and to manufacture ingredients for personal care products and textiles. The Company’s principal anti-counterfeiting and product authentication solutions, SigNature DNA and BioMaterial Genotyping, allow users to protect branded products, artwork and collectibles, fine wine, digital media, financial instruments, identity cards, and other official documents. The Company’s BioActive Ingredients is used by its customers in personal care products, such as skin care products, and in textiles, such as intimate apparel.


    Management:

    CEO: Dr. James Hayward was appointed by the Board of Directors as President and Chairman of the Board in 2007. He has over 20 years of experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, life science and consumer product industries. He was one of the founding principals and research director of Europe's first liposome company, Biocompatibles Ltd. From 1984 to 1989, he was responsible for product development at Esteé Lauder Companies, where he served as director of research worldwide.

    Great end of day yesterday. closed at the highest point in 5-6 months. I like this to have a good week next week.

    that pop is definitely possible with everything that we've been seeing lately. GLTA who've been a part of this story and I look forward to seeing where APDN goes today and in the future.
