BWI Holdings, Inc. (BWIH.OB) Negotiating New Credit Facility
BWI Holdings, Inc., operating as Budget Waste Inc., announced this morning that it is actively working with its agents to secure a new credit facility of up to $5 Million. The company is currently in the process of negotiating the terms and conditions with multiple lenders to achieve the most cost effective terms.
Once the new credit facility has been secured, BWI plans to use part of the funds to pay off existing debt and leases, and use the balance for General working capital purposes. According to the press release, this financing would allow the company to complete a plan of Arrangement and emerge from CCAA in the near future.

BWI Holdings, Inc. (BWIH.OB) Inks Three Year Contract with Alberta Sustainable Resource Development
Today, BWI Holdings, Inc. announced that it has entered into a three year contract with Alberta Sustainable Resource Development. Under the terms of the contract, BWI will provide water trucks for fighting forest fires in Alberta and neighboring provinces on an on-call basis. The agreement commences April 1, 2009.
The Provincial Forest Fire Centre works with the ten Fire Management Areas in the Province to coordinate suppression and pre-suppression efforts. The province has access to everything needed to quickly respond to a wildfire, including: highly trained Type 1, 2 and 3 wildland firefighters plus leases airtankers, patrol aircraft, helicopters, dozers, crawlers, low-boys, and catering.

BWI Holdings, Inc. was extremely pleased to announce this morning that the Town of Cochrane has decided to renew their contract for another 2 years until January 2011. The Town of Cochrane has been provided with the company’s curbside pickup for the past 3+ years. The contract has an estimated value of 1 million dollars over the 2-year term.
The Town of Cochrane is located about 35 kilometers northwest of Calgary, and has been growing at a rate of approximately 10% per year. BWI Holdings is proud to be part of the growth and success of the Town of Cochrane.

Jim Can, CEO of BWI Holdings, Inc., operating as Budget Waste Inc., recently announced the appointment of Mike Elphicke as Director of Sales and Marketing for Southern Alberta. Mr. Elphicke was previously the New Business Sales Manager for the Interior of British Columbia at Waste Management. He comes to Budget Waste Inc. with a long history of sales successes and awards, including eight time recipient of the Circle Sales Achievement Award.
BWI Holdings, Inc. also recently appointed Cari Anderson as Director of Corporate Communications and Investor Relations. Ms. Anderson has a dozen years of experience operating private businesses and most recently served in an investor relations capacity with a public mining company. There she was influential in the creation of innovative investor relations strategies.
