Decided to sell today. In Friday at 1.67, out today at 2.33.

    I'll be back, Hecla!

I think you are leaving money on the table

    Here is the P&F chart

It is right at a resistance point of $2.40...is it going to falter and fall back or break through to $3.00???

Hmmmmmm....it is definitely at a resistance at $2.35....I think i will move through this and beyond. Support is at $2.25...I'd be a bit concerned if it fell through this but not much....if you want to buy in again you can try to catch it at this price....but then it might just take off and you'll be chasing it.

As a long term trader I'd be hanging on...as a swing trader I can see your point. Personally I think you might have sold 1/2 your holdings and let the rest ride for a while....but profits are profits...good luck...thanks for showing me this stock.

Well, I obviously got very lucky getting out at 2.33 yesterday. And yes, it was luck, not sheer brilliance.

I'll be watching this for another entry (which may already have happened, but no settled funds at the moment.)

Yes, you were....much better than me obviously on this one...

    Look at this P&F chart

draw a diagonal from the bottom X and O ar a 45deg angle upwards....then look at where it crosses the column of falling O's....it crosses at about $1.50...this is the next support level and a possible buy-in level to re-enter. If it fell through this level then it would fall all the way back to $1.10...I don't think this will happen but your intuition seems to be better than mine

After hours trading has it at $1.68 up 4 cents

I say that you may catch it again on a brief spike of $1.50. I doubt it will fall past that and stay there...

That resistance is pretty solid at $2.35-2.40....if the stock passed that point I would not sell for a while....but as a swing player I suppose that is where you'd set your target if you get the $1.50

    good luck

Hecla continues to be good to me. Got back in yesterday at 1.85. Almost sold (cautiously) at the end of the day, but I'm glad I'm still in, as it looks like it might be more fun tomorrow.

This completely non-scientific analysis is brought to you by the letters 'H' and 'L'.

Well done....look at the P&F chart below....$2.40 is a resistance to cross...do this and you are looking at $2.80 next
