VYST thread and DD

View Systems, Inc. (OTC BB: VYST), a leading
homeland defense solutions provider, announced today that two purchase
orders have been received for VFR (Visual First Responder) units. One
purchase order came from one of View's larger dealers who is becoming more
active in the market space. The second order is scheduled for delivery to
the West Palm Beach Fire Department. This order brings the number of VFRs
in Florida to eight. The total of the two purchase orders exceeds $40,000.

"The two purchase orders are a good example of excellent reviews turning
into sales. Florida is progressive with their emergency equipment
technology and we are excited to become more active in that area of the
country," states Dave Johansen, Manager of Homeland Defense Products.

The VFR was selected by R&D Magazine as one of the 100 Most Technologically
Significant New Products of the Year. It is a lightweight wireless video
camera system that is taken to incident scenes by emergency first
responders to deliver clear, secure video of the situation at hand. VFR
enables commanders to witness frontline activity "live." According to
www.avem.org, R&D Magazine is a news-oriented publication that reaches more
than 90,000 scientists and engineers. The publication "reports and analyzes
leading-edge scientific and technological discoveries that drive product
and process development across all industries (www.avem.org)."

View Systems, Inc. (OTC BB: VYST), a leading
homeland defense solutions provider, announced today a new addition to the
VFR (Visual First Responder) line of products.

The original VFR is a sought-after product for Hazmat technicians. The need
to have steady, wireless video has been clearly indicated by the response
communities. Many tactical units, in addition to search and rescue teams,
have asked View to develop an additional product suited to their needs. The
VFRM2 addresses those specific needs and provides more performance while
maintaining mission flexibility.

"The M2 stands for multi-mission," states Homeland Defense Products
Manager, Dave Johansen. "The VFRM2 is a 'hands-free' system which is what
S.W.A.T. members have asked for. We have received a tremendous amount of
input from first responders, and they have helped us design a real winner."

The VFRM2 has multiple video inputs to allow several capabilities in the
same mission such as thermal imaging and flexible neck camera usage. The
VFRM2 can provide video when the situation will not allow standard wireless
transmission; for example, collapsed structures or high interference
environments. The VFRM2 maintains the excellent wireless range coupled with
the heavy video encryption and rugged construction first seen in the
original VFR.

The VFR was selected by R&D Magazine as one of the 100 Most Technologically
Significant New Products of the Year. VFR enables commanders to witness
frontline activity "live." According to www.avem.org, R&D Magazine is a
news-oriented publication that reaches more than 90,000 scientists and
engineers. The publication "reports and analyzes leading-edge scientific
and technological discoveries that drive product and process development
across all industries (www.avem.org)."

View Systems CEO, Gunther Than, states, "The VFRM2 has applications in many
more market segments than the original VFR. We are also integrating a
state-of-the-art multi-sensing technology that will shake the market and
set View Systems apart. The VFR series is a success in the homeland defense
market."

View Systems Announces Additional Purchase Orders From MarylandDepartment of Corrections and a High Demand for Biometric SecureScanIII

Jul 11, 2006 09:15:48 (ET)

BALTIMORE, MD, Jul 11, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- View Systems, Inc. (VYST, Trade ), a leading homeland defense solutions provider, has announced a significant increase in sales and an increased demand for the SecureScan III with biometric and ID scanning capabilities.

View Systems received purchase orders from the Division of Pre-Trial Detention Center in Baltimore and the Maryland House of Corrections. The SecureScan III biometric system continues to produce increased sales from the Maryland Department of Corrections.

Funded by the US Department of Justice, the SecureScan III's non-contact imaging capabilities reduce the need for wanding and pat-down searches. While ignoring common items like coins, watches, and jewelry, the SecureScan III is sensitive enough to locate hidden razor blades and cell phones on its video image. The SecureScan III's open system architecture allows its data and video to be monitored and controlled remotely. The biometric SecureScan III CWD is the latest tool in public safety screening.

View Systems Executive, Charlie Nelson, states, "The biometric SecureScan III features a fingerprint identification and verification system, a state-issued ID scanning device, and a visitor badge printing system. The benefits of the system will save the states tens of thousands of dollars each year in reduced paper and paid work hours, while still insuring a safe environment for correctional facility staff and the public."

View Systems CEO, Gunther Than, adds, "We have over 25 purchase orders from correctional facilities to date, totaling over 45 units. There are approximately 4,500 correctional facilities in the United States; that's well over a $90 million market for SecureScans alone. Adding fingerprint verification or ID scanning will increase the potential revenue another 20 plus million dollars."

View Systems Receives Additional SecureScan Purchase Orders FromCalifornia

Jul 13, 2006 09:15:42 (ET)

BALTIMORE, MD, Jul 13, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- View Systems, Inc. (VYST, Trade ), a leading homeland defense solutions provider, announced today that a purchase order for two SecureScan units has been received from the County of Orange, California. Units will be placed in the Central Justice Center and the North Justice Center in Santa Ana and Fullerton, respectively.

Funded by the Department of Justice, the SecureScan II's non-contact imaging capabilities reduce the need for wanding and pat-down searches. While ignoring common items like coins, watches, and jewelry, the SecureScan II is sensitive enough to locate hidden razor blades on its video image.

View Systems' West Coast Representative, Craig Boyd, states, "I am pleased with the progress in California. The Sheriff's Department realized the value of this unit for many reasons, but the archiving capability was really the main selling point. It's advantageous to be able to go back and see exactly who passed through the portal, and the SecureScan allows that function."

View Systems CEO, Gunther Than, states, "The California court system is the largest in the nation, comprised of 461 courthouses ( California Courts ). There are 58 counties and sheriffs' offices in California, and over 400 police departments and police stations. California is coming on strong as a tremendous market for View Systems. We will be introducing the biometric fingerprint identification and verification system and the driver's license/state-issued ID scanning interfaces in California in the near future."

BALTIMORE, MD, Aug 24, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- View Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: VYST), a leading homeland defense solutions provider, announced today that additional purchase orders for SecureScan units have been received from two correctional facilities in Maryland: The Maryland House of Corrections in Jessup and MRDCC.
View Systems executive, Charles Nelson, states, "Commissioner Frank Sizer initiated the effort to attain funds for new security equipment for all Maryland prisons in October of 2005. The first SecureScan units were installed in January of 2006. His vision was to upgrade security for all Maryland Correctional Facilities. His suggestions to incorporate biometric fingerprint scanning and positive ID recognition have greatly added to the abilities of the SecureScan. I have great respect for Commissioner Sizer and I hope the citizens of Maryland become aware of his year-long struggle to get these units in place."

Funded by the Department of Justice, SecureScan's non-contact imaging capabilities reduce the need for wanding and pat-down searches. While ignoring common items like coins, watches, and jewelry, the SecureScan is sensitive enough to locate hidden razor blades and cell phones on its video image, which are crucial in correctional facility searches.

Gunther Than, CEO of View Systems, states, "The vision and guidance of Commissioner Sizer has given us the opportunity to create a technology specifically for use in correctional facilities. Knowing that we can fill a need in our own back yard goes to the core of a business created for the welfare and common good of the people of this state."
