![]() | SORD---Making a huge move in the market today...Expect big news from SORD this week The share price will easily bounce towards $1.00...Time to buy cheap shares is running out.....Looking to the future: It is just a matter of time until ethanol is generated from cellulose products. Cellulose products do not contain the starch found in corn BUT they are abundant and cheap! With conventionally available technologies, it is currently difficult to make ethanol from cellulose products because substances that inhibit the fermentation of these materials are generated in the process. Worldwide study attacking the cellulose issue from every conceivable approach in attempts to produce ethanol from cellulose. In the United States there are multiple projects underway to make cellulosic ethanol from cellulose such as grass, wood and sawdust. A few of the many worldwide examples are: * Tokachi Mainichi Newspaper in China where they will join with a local university toe experiment using microorganisms that decompose cellulose into sugar. * In Peoria, Illinios, the Fermentat Biotechnology Research Unit, National Center Agriculture Utilizat Research is attempting to create ethanol from rice hulls. * Petrobras inaugurated a pilot plant to produce second-generation ethanol from sugarcane bagasse, a residue from ethanol or sugar production that is widely available throughout Brazil. Petrobras plans to have a semi-industrial prototype plant for cellulosic ethanol production running in 2010. That plant will have the capacity to convert 10 tons of sugarcane bagasse into about 740 gallons of ethanol. SORD in choosing its location found a unique niche: the Mississippi Delta. The Delta farmland generates millions of tons of cotton plants after the cotton is harvested. As you can see from the map below SORD will be the only ethanol plant in the rich, rich Delta land. To own the only cotton gin in town in the Delta was at one time prima facie evidence of unimaginable wealth. Now, owning the only ethanol plant in the Mississippi Delta makes lots of sense (cents)! |
