Thanks for responding folks. Wasn't sure if I was posting plays for nothing or not, but since some people are using it I will continue.


KKUR - anybody else following the strange action on this one? Watch the L2 on it and you will see it drop a bit and uptick on bidwhacks and then all of a sudden it pops up and then downticks on buys. It is incredibly weird, but I still believe that it is gearing up for another big move (hopefully up).

TVCE (new) - lotto play. This one was up .0003 (100%) on much higher than normal volume. Closed at .0006 after hitting a high of .0008. It broke .0007 quintuple top resistance (see 3 yr chart), but ultimately closed at .0006. I believe this one has many eyes watching it after today's move and therefore could make a major upward move. However, this should be regarded as a lotto play because it is a very very risky play.

IMJX (new) - lotto play. This one made a little move, up 50% or .0001 to close at .0003. It had news early this morning and got some good volume. It could continue moving a little bit. Bear in mind though, that it hasn't been at or above .0002 for almost a year, so it is a very risky play and should be regarded as lotto only.

Awaiting FDA decision
Don't forget SPPI. That one is still waiting FDA decision on 9/7/09 for Zogenix after being delayed back in early July. The other drug Fusilev is still set for 10/8/09 decision. Closed down again at 6.18 today. Although the chart is moving down (along with the rest of the market), I expect action to start coming in two weeks before the decision date, so I expect upward movement to start again around 8/24/09 up until decision date, but that's just IMO. I was actually trying to pick up some extra cheap Nov and Jan call options, but no luck yet.

KKUR - closed down 1 tick at 0015, after reaching a low of 001 early on. Chart is headed down as it made a lower low and a lower high, however, I averaged down today because I still think it is gearing up for a move up. Will have to see a reversal soon and more volume in order to get that move up I'm hoping for.

TVCE and IMJX - lotto plays that went down. I was hoping for a nice move, but it didn't happen. That's how lotto plays are. Taking them off radar.

OPCN (new) - up 11% on normal volume to close at .075 HOD. Trend seems to be reversing up. Be careful though because I have a bag from .14 that I should have sold when I was up! Hopefully the uptrend continues and I can finally be rid of it.

KKUR - closed down 1 tick at 0014. Volume is diminishing and chart is not looking great. A few more days on radar and I will remove it if it doesn't make a move up.

MIKP - down 2 ticks to close at .0014 after starting out at 0016 and going down to 0013. I bought more at 0014 EOD after the news came in. Hopefully I didn't waste my money and it will move up on the news. Fingers crossed.

Can someone please help me understand when people are talking resistance and support. How do you get to these numbers and how or where is a place I can learn what all this stuff means. Also how the ask and bid change and any other info would be great.

Look at the chart link for HMIT that I posted for the day ending 8/21/09. On that day, HMIT reached 0014 and ultimately closed at 0011. Since it did not break 0014, that is the first resistance. The previous run on August 12 ran up to a high of 0017 before going down. The previous run before that was .0026. Before that was .003. And before that was .0052. Each of those highs that never broke are considered resistances. Other resistance numbers would be the moving average (MA) lines such as the ones in green, red, or blue on the chart, but since Friday it went above those lines at one point, they are not considered resistances any more. Those MAs were 10 day, 20 day, and 50 day. You can set others such as 100 day, 200 day, etc (whatever works for you). Support is any previous low which in this case is 0009 and 0008, or any resistance that was broken. So if HMIT closes above 0014 today, then 0014 will be a new line of support. Of course, charts for penny stocks aren't as accurate as big boards because these things can run or fall easily. Big board charts are much more accurate.


For some good tutorials on support/resistance, and other things like bid/ask, etc, this website (StockHideout) has a bunch of video tutorials. I suggest looking at these as soon as you have a chance because it will help your trading a lot. Good luck
