Default SPPI huge move, SOEN and EXPH slight pullbacks (for 6/30/09)

stocks covered in this post: SPPI, SOEN, EXPH

1) SPPI soared up today, going up $1.04 at one point to hit $8.15 before finally settling the day at 7.65 (up .54 or 7.59%. Congrats to those who got in when I mentioned at 5.35 a couple weeks ago for a 43% gain so far (going by the 7.65 close).

Awaiting the FDA decision for the first drug by 7/2/09 and the second drug by 10/8/09.

FDA plays are highly risky, so if you have enough profit (or loss), take it. You never know what will happen.

2) SOEN pulled back a little today, closing down .01 or 2.25%.

Next resistance is around .60.
Support at .40 and .36.

SOEN - SharpCharts Workbench : StockCharts.com

***************************************

3) EXPH also pulled back a little today, closing down .0001 or 3.57%.

Resistances are .0038, .0044, .0065, .014, .025, .035

Default SPPI, SOEN, EXPH all red today 7/1/09

stocks covered in this post: SPPI, SOEN, EXPH, and FLIP (new)

1) SPPI took a tumble today, down $1.06 or 13.86% to close at $6.59 as the company had another equity offering at $7.15. That is the smart thing to do just in case the first drug is not approved. I am still optimistic though.

Awaiting the FDA decision for the first drug by 7/2/09 and the second drug by 10/8/09.

FDA plays are highly risky, so if you have enough profit (or loss), take it. You never know what will happen.

SPPI - SharpCharts Workbench : StockCharts.com

****************************************

2) SOEN went down a tad again, down .015 or 3.45% to close at .42.

Support at .40 and .36.
Next resistance is around .60.

SOEN - SharpCharts Workbench : StockCharts.com

****************************************

3) EXPH down .0002 or 7.41% to close at .0025. Still not sure what it will do as it did not make a higher high, but it did make a higher low.

Support is at .002, .0016
Resistances are .0028, .0038, .0044, .0065, .014, .025, .035

EXPH - SharpCharts Workbench : StockCharts.com

****************************************

4) FLIP is a new stock that I am covering in this post. I believe that it is about to break .0009 resistance and will break out. It should be good for a daytrade or swing. Watch to make sure that .0009 is broken first to confirm the breakout. If broken, next resistance is around .002, then .0025, then .007ish

Default SPPI, EXPH, down, SOEN, FLIP up 7/2/09

stocks covered in this post: SPPI, SOEN, EXPH, and FLIP

1) SPPI took another fall today bouncing off 5.96 support after an Adam Feuerstein article on TheStreet.com bashing the company. Ultimately, it closed down only .09 or 1.37% at 6.50

Awaiting the FDA decision for the first drug by 7/2/09 (today) and the second drug by 10/8/09.

FDA plays are highly risky, so if you have enough profit (or loss), take it. You never know what will happen.

SPPI - SharpCharts Workbench : StockCharts.com

2) SOEN hit it's .40 support and ultimately went up .02 or 4.76% to close at its high of .44. Volume is waning though.

Support at .40 and .36.
Next resistance is around .60.

SOEN - SharpCharts Workbench : StockCharts.com

****************************************

3) EXPH hit 002 support, but bounced back to end the day down .0002 or 8% to close at .0023. Volume is waning though.

EXPH - SharpCharts Workbench : StockCharts.com

****************************************

4) FLIP shortly broke 0009 resistance and hit a high of 0015 but ultimately closed up 1 tick at .001 (up 11%). The bid/ask definitely need to tighten first before it can really run.

Resistance is 001, 0015, .002ish, .0025, .007ish

Default SPPI, SOEN, EXPH down, FLIP even - 7/6/09

stocks covered in this post: SPPI, SOEN, EXPH, and FLIP

1) SPPI took another fall today down $1.10 (16.9%) closing at 5.40 after the FDA requested more info about Zevalin. The company is supposed to respond by Wednesday 7/8.

The FDA decision date for the second drug is 10/8/09.

Hope you all took some profit when it was in the $8's last week. Like I say with all FDA plays, they are highly risky, so if you have enough profit (or loss), take it. You never know what will happen.

SPPI - SharpCharts Workbench : StockCharts.com

****************************************

2) SOEN bounced off the 10 dma .39 and came back to close at .42, down .02 (4.55%). See if .38 support holds or not, otherwise it will be taken off radar.

SOEN - SharpCharts Workbench : StockCharts.com

****************************************

3) EXPH broke 002 support and hit .0018, but bounced back to end the day down .0001 or 4.35% to close at .0022. I am taking it off radar, unless it comes back to break .0028 resistance.

EXPH - SharpCharts Workbench : StockCharts.com

****************************************

4) FLIP closed the day even. It has a wide spread and not much volume. If volume starts coming in or it breaks .0015 resistance, then I will put it back on radar, otherwise I am taking it off radar.

Default SPPI up a bit, SOEN flat, EXPH skyrocketed - 7/7/09

stocks covered in this post: SPPI, SOEN, EXPH

1) SPPI bounced back up a little today, up .23 or 4.26% to close at 5.23. The company is supposed to respond to the FDA's request for more info on Zevalin by Wednesday 7/8.

The FDA decision date for the second drug is 10/8/09.

FDA plays are highly risky, so if you have enough profit (or loss), take it. You never know what will happen.

SPPI - SharpCharts Workbench : StockCharts.com

****************************************

2) SOEN again bounced off the 10 dma at .39 and came back to close at .42, even for the day. Volume is waning, but it's continuing to hold support. I am taking it off radar now, unless it breaks .45 resistance. I no longer have any position in SOEN.

SOEN - SharpCharts Workbench : StockCharts.com

****************************************

3) Although EXPH was taken off radar last night because volume was waning, it got put back on radar today after it broke 0028 resistance. EXPH went ahead and broke 0038, 0044, 0065 resistances as well on the news to close at 0074, up .0052 or 236%. What a day! Congrats to all who got in on my call at 0025 after 6/28 close. I sold most of my shares today and still hold a few shares in case of a continued run. Next resistances are .014, .025, .035

Default SPPI down, EXPH up then down - 7/8/09

stocks covered in this post: SPPI, EXPH

1) SPPI dropped today, as there has been no response yet from the company regarding the FDA's request for more info on Zevalin. Company said they would respond by Wednesday 7/8, but so far they have not said anything yet. The stock dropped .40 or 7.1% to close at 5.23.

The FDA decision date for the second drug is 10/8/09.

FDA plays are highly risky, so if you have enough profit (or loss), take it. You never know what will happen.

SPPI - SharpCharts Workbench : StockCharts.com

****************************************

2) EXPH hit a high of .0099 (up .0025 from yesterday's close of .0074), but ultimately ended the day at .0061 (down .0013 or 17.57%). I no longer have any shares of EXPH left. Will see if there is opportunity to play again.

Default SPPI closed flat, EXPH up a little - 7/9/09

stocks covered in this post: SPPI, EXPH, ARDM (new)

1) SPPI went up a little on news from the company that they sent over the info requested by the FDA yesterday. It ended up closing flat for the day. Now only awaiting FDA's approval or rejection of their drug Zevalin. At this point, it is a lotto play. Will not mention again until something happens.

The FDA decision date for the second drug is 10/8/09.

FDA plays are highly risky, so if you have enough profit (or loss), take it. You never know what will happen.

SPPI - SharpCharts Workbench : StockCharts.com

****************************************

2) EXPH up a little today, closing at .0065, up .0004 (6.5%). Volume is decreasing. Could be consolidation or the end of interest. Have to wait for a breakout or breakdown. Will not mention again until a breakout happens.

EXPH - SharpCharts Workbench : StockCharts.com

****************************************

3) ARDM.OB (Aradigm Corp) - new on radar, closed .19 on 7/9/09

This is also an FDA play. They supposedly have an agreement with Zogenix for a drug DosePro which is awaiting FDA approval by 7/15/09 for migraines. If the agreement is still in effect, ARDM could get royalties on the drug if approved. The agreement was from a press release on Zogenix's website from 3 years ago, so I don't know if it is still in effect. (ZOGENIX - Aradigm Announces Asset Sale of Intraject Needle-Free Technology; Private Company Created to Launch Novel Migraine Treatment)

I got some today as a lotto play.

FDA plays are highly risky, so if you have enough profit (or loss), take it. You never know what will happen.

Default new microcap play OPGX

OPGX.PK has been making several attempts to break .0007 resistance the past few days. Today it made a higher low of .0005, but ended up closing up .0001 at .0006 (7/10/09). I believe dilution is close to being over and this could be a good runner.

Resistances at .0007, .0009, .0013, .0049
Support at .0005, .0003

Don't be greedy with microcaps. If you have enough profit (or loss), get out.

Default OPGX down, ARDM up 7/13/09

Stocks mentioned in this post: OPGX, ARDM

1) OPGX.PK crapped out again, going down .0002 or 33% to close at .0004. Either dilution is still happening or the whackers are back. I won't mention again unless it breaks 0007. I'm holding my bag in case it makes a move.

Resistances at .0007, .0009, .0013, .0049

OPGX - SharpCharts Workbench : StockCharts.com

2) ARDM.OB up .04 or 21% to close at .23. This is the FDA play that I began covering last week at .19. Default new play HLMB.PK 7/15/09

stocks mentioned in this post: ARDM, HLMB (new play)

1) ARDM.OB - still no word from FDA. Today is d-day supposedly (if agreement is still in effect at all). Will not mention unless it moves significantly or there is news.

2) HLMB.PK - new high risk lotto play. Closed at .04, up 33% on only 2 trades of 5k each (only $400 total volume, half was mine). It is a high risk lotto play that could end up being a bag. I entered on reason of a 15-12g filing with a change in President from Volker Schatten (last filing 2008) to Thomas Wikstrom (filing today 7/15/2009). Website is under construction (http://www.holmesbiopharma.com/). Perhaps something is cooking. It is a high risk lotto play for me.

Lotto plays usually don't work out, but hey, you never know!
