MP -- additional mods to RSIWLR

[quote=goforbroke]this is for time series!!!
how about momentum,rsi,etc
QUOTE]

hey

actually, the indicators have stood the test of time although i added a RSI (6) as another indicator, a50% LRC to the RSI (2) (gives the indicators their own LRC) and a ma50 to the volume indicator.

also working with the Williams at (9) instead of (10) as a test that seems to be working out well !

nothing major besides the timeseries !

everyone has someone, and i guess your mine right now ! (LOL)

but im dumb and dont know how to post the chart so ---- just go to studies for your RSIWLR chart and ADD "50% LINEAR REGRESSION CHANNEL". in the drop down box below that, it gives you choices AS TO WHERE YOU WANT TO APPLY the indicator youve chosen, so choose "RSI (2) and it will go there !

as far as the MA50, select that from the indicators as above and then on the next drop down box below it, assign it to VOLUME !

with many of the indicators available, you can ASSIGN them to more than just the chart itself, which is what ive done !

enjoy

Looks like you got a new apprentice on your hands mp, How has it been going! Anyways, made any new changes? What do you think about ema(5) crossing above pps and rsi 2 not peaked, and not hit upper bb's and LRC. It seems to do well some of the time.

MP -- HAND QUIDE FOR THE RSIWLR

well now, i guess the first few paragraphs of the RSIWLR instructions pretty well sums up the whole program, since its SO much simpler than setting up "mikeys method" (gotta change that name someday) which required a hand quide.

BUT THE SIMPLEST WOULD BE --- BUY when all the lines are at the bottom having gotten there at between a 30 and 45 degree angle AND the pps is sitting on the bottom LRC line showing a hammer or a doji AND the timeseries lines are BENEATH the pps.

SELL when the RSI2 hits topside "directly" and does not bend over and go flat at the top. if it goes flat, hold and wait for the rest of the lines to reach the top and then SELL. Prepare to SELL when the RSI 2 reaches the 80% area, as that shows the stock will most likely gap the next day and begin its selloff.

cant get simpler than that !

RSIWLR

Thanks MP.

Are you referring to the #1 post of this thread for the instructions? Just wanted to make sure as I have been reading all the threads pertaining to this method and was getting confuse about all the rules with the momentum, ad, rsi, wlr, and timeseries.

If I recall the #1 post of this thread just talks about the TSF. In the other threads, the momentum, ad, rsi, wlr rules are given.

I'll just have to reread again. I am looking for a "cheat" sheet I guess. But maybe I just need to KISS and just follow your reply.

Is this thread the "official" instructions i.e. scrap the other threads? I am using the StockFetcher scan emulated by TRO - it seems to replicate what generates on prophet.net.

thanks

Wanted to say thanks MP for all you do here! I look up all your recent posts and hang on every word and stock watch. And don't worry, I don't blindly buy anything you post so please don't stop. I like your reasonings and analysis why you think a particular stock might be worth considering.

So, just wanted to let you know people appreciate your work!
