MP-- interday charts

hey braz

go to the prefs section, then "charts" then "miscellaneous" and under miscellaneous, uncheck "allow to scroll charts" that will take care of your random time charts. jerry claims its a feature, not a bug --- but it used to work just fine the normal way -- oh well !

what i do is have 2 charts up at one time, one being the next LOWER time period than the second chart (which is the actual trading chart). on that lower time period chart, i have the titles for each one of the indicators which you set up by RIGHT CLICKING on the chart you wish the legends to be on, going to "select indicators" and checking the boxes "show upper legend" and "show lower legend". this i set up as one chart (i use default as a title) and simply change the time periods by hand as it becomes necessary, leaving the other trading chart right next to it, but without legends to get in the way of the indicators themselves !

hope that helps

MP -- LRC alerts in qt

===========================================
hey,

qt is not able to screen stocks as you wish, but a workaround would be to use stockfetcher to set up a watchlist of 200 stocks per list and then have an appropriate LRC or RSI filter set up to check them in the mornings.

it is doubtful that all 300 would show on any one day, so transferring them to qt should not be god awful !

hope that helps

Thanks Mike. I hve made the change on the charts for random time, but have not been home to use it.

NOW, about the two charts part. Where is the link you gave on setting this up. By the way, the problem I was having loading up the historical charts has gone away. Still working on the rest.

My prohet net account has been setting dormant. Will try to set it up also. Time, time, time. My big problem right now.

Questions About Mikey's Method

esology posted the new hand guide, is this a synopis of Mikey's
method?
I want to print Mikey's method for study, is the version dated in april the latest one?
Can the RSIWRL or Mikey' method be used for other than
daytrading?

Thanks,
lizzydog

hey

the hand quide is a synopsis of the most recent indicator settings now being used in mikeys, but the set up info is contained in the original april posting along with an update released the following day (the 23rd, i believe)

mikeys is a daytrading system, while the RSIWLR scan and analyzer both lend themselves to day or swing trading.

paper trade the RSIWLR for a while (following the directions of course) and youll see how it gives you daytrades and then continuations, based on the momo and ad line starting from a low level.

hope that helps

It did help Mike, except for the bottom indicators. I have it selected to show them. I saved them under a new title. I have selected it several times, and no indicator titles?

Any ideas?

=======================================

hey

not displaced --- simply moving average RANGES !

13/20-26 refers to the ema13 AND the sma20 thru the sma 26 (your choice -- PICK ONE !)

(the sma 20 or whatever number you finally use MUST be below the 13)

the 3 - 5 ma simply means YOU pick a number from 3 to 5 to use as YOUR moving average.
