mike can you give any information on using the paintbars-i see it takes a formula-need some help
say if the mfi[14,1] hits 51 on the way up -could a signal be made for that
and could you write it for me tia

hey bug --- im sure you could write a formula for that one but first, theres a little nagging thought stuck in the back of my alleged mind and thats WHY ?

oh, i understand what youre driving at by wanting an alert when the mfi crosses up over the 50, but i believe if you monitor that idea a bit longer, you will see how dangerous an idea it really is, as SOME stocks come off the bottom and continue up, but an awful lot DONT and even more reverse and return back down over the 50 point after having broken it to the upside !

i do not find pivot points particularly helpful, but im really NOT a formula writer either so you can go to the excellent paint bar section on the medved group web page under the HELP column ! theyve got tons of paintbar formulas and assistance !

one of the sweetest little helpers with qt is the free feed available from scottrade and given as a "demo" for their system.

THEY have the TICK and the TRIN (EVERYONE has the indexes !) and thats what most of us are using right now (so if theyre not right, at least everyone using them is wrong the same way !)

ive made a portfolio of certain stocks and would like to run a scan to find which ones start the day in the lower regression area is this possible and if so how do i run it on qt thanks the list includes over 300 stocks

I get an error message when I try to read your file through acrobat reader something about the color error.
I have got quote tracker and I get stuck in the area where it says indicators can't find top indicators any help if you are still around would be appreciated.

You might want to try and download it again. You are the first of about 550 people that has stated it gave them problems. Might not have downloaded well the first time.

My intraday charts seem to have a mind of their own. Sometimes it is a 10 or 15 minute chart, and sometimes a six hour chart?

My real complaint is the bottom indicators. Nothing on them to indicate which one is which?
