hey

i only short channeling stocks, be they in an uptrend or a downtrend because theyre extremely predictable and i love a sure thing !

but my favorites for years now have been CCK and MSO !

i don't understand how to set up the charts..
i got the portifilos, the watch list, lv2, and time of sale..

but i am not understanding the chart set up yet.

have run into problems with my program at medved. your teachings are great but ive stopped because of these two things:
1-cant get split screen
2-i cant find default
i hit apply then ok right clicked to save chart template but only get create
new template but no default where is the default

Also two more questions:

3-does medved provide level II
4-can you purchase stocks thru medved or do i use my ameritrade account
in seperate window

1-cant get split screen --- THAT IS A FUNCTION of the "chart period" settings and gotten to by right clicking the intraday chart and selecting "all data" OR click on the screen and type the number 5, which will bring up the 2 day screen !

4-can you purchase stocks thru medved or do i use my ameritrade account
in seperate window --- QT has its own trading window that connects directly with your broker (once you add the required passwords, etc) and it is simply wonderful !

PLEASE NOTE THESE CHANGES IN THE MOMENTUM FIGURES AND THE INDICATORS THAT WE HAVE EXPERIMENTED WITH AND DECIDED ON IN OUR CHAT ROOM, which you should join for at least a few days --- excellent advise on how to use the method !

THE INDICATORS -----
as overlays on the chart --- EMA 9 and 13, horizontal line (previous close) and pivot points.

as indicators below the chart ---- TRIX 3/5, FISHER TRANSFORM 6/4, Q STICK 6, MOMENTUM 25/20 EXCEPT -- 1 - 15 min charts are 25/20, the 30 min chart is 12/10 and the 60 minute chart is 6/5.
WILLIAMS R % 10, RSI 6/1, CCI HISTOGRAM 14/1, MFI 6/1.

TIMES TO BE USING CHARTS ----

get into the 10 minute chart as soon as possible (usually after 10 mins -- dahhhh !). at noon, switch to the 15 minute, at 2 switch to the 30 minute and at 3 switch to the 60 min chart !

nothing to look out for hella -- its just that level 2 goes up and down so quickly that watching it AND BELIEVING IT can cause you to get dumped out of a trade far sooner than the method would since it measures momentum, and not how the mms feel at the moment !

just double click on any symbol in your watchlist and then do it again with another --- you now have two charts !!!!

dont forget to click "down" the linking pushpin on the upper right of the charts which will link the charts to any symbol you bring up on the watchlist !
