Arrow RSIWLR LATEST UPDATES !

hey

although i re-edit the original instructions on an ongoing basis (take a look if you havent for a while), i will try to post the LATEST changes here.

for instance ----

on many stocks there will be a cross to the upside by either the RSI or the Williams (one of them crosses the other) --- ALMOST ALWAYS this indicates a rally or at the minimum an up day following ! (position of "trending" lines should tell you what to expect for length of rally ! I have also added an RSI 6 and when the RSI 2 crosses the RSI 6, its as good as gold !

the following notes apply to ALL time period charts, although i have been using the 3 month when working with these !

CHANNELING STOCKS ---- i start with a 6 month chart for the overall picture and then work in closer to see detail !

TIMESERIES INDICATOR -- i presently use a 5, 9 and 15.

MUDDY METHOD REVERSALS ---- set up charts with EMA13 & SMA20 for the pullback zone. indicators and LRC will easily show strength and duration of the reversal !

SEPERATE BUY & SELL CHARTS --- i have used the "apply studies" feature of prophet charts to create seperate charts, cutting down the number of overlays on the chart face.

SELL CHART --- for multi day holders --- contains the LRC, BOLLS & EMA5. if the stock drops thru the EMA 5 be aware. if it drops thru the 5 with descending indicators or drops thru the 10, get out of dodge now !

SHORT SELLERS --- use the SELL CHART for entry or exit. cover when the stock breaks ABOVE the EMA 5

A/D LINE DIVERGENCE --- take special note if the stock is going up or down (for shorts) and the A/D line is moving counter to the pps --- close to guaranteed things will change in the direction of the A/D LINE.

PPS = Price Per Share

The only dumb question is the one not asked.

further questions

In this section, "the 2 lines cross over percentage point can be tailored to your choice as this system is capable of warning you 2 to 3 days in advance of an upcoming rally (usually when the lines hit zero and start up again) and will even pick up the slight movement in a stock that is being front run. I would suggest starting with 25% as the early warning point and 50% as the " time to buy" point, but paper test it and see where you like to place your "buy" signals!" are the 2 lines you are referring to RSI & WLR? How do you set cross over percentage point? TIA

MP --- PERCENTAGES

hey

if one were to go to the bottom of the prophet java chart and click on "detach" you would find that the chart gets much bigger and the percentages become more numerous --- more numerous indeed, but the 50% is gone, replaced by a 40% below and a 60% above, so you need to interpret where the 50% point lies.

bigger and clearer charts, but we lost the 50% marker !

"its a feature, not a bug !"

lol

Buy Charts----Sell Charts

First I would like to thank you for all of the information you freely give. In the above changes you stated you have seperate buy and sell charts,
what studies do you put on the buy and sell charts?
Thanks,
lizzydog

======================================

i actually have a number of charts for buys, "muddy method" buys and of course sells !

the SELL chart is the simplest, having only the LRC, the 5ma and the timeseries 5, 9 and 15 ! when the pps crosses the 5ma to the downside, its time to call it a day ! normally, the tseries 5 and 9 will agree with the ma5, but for ABSOLUTE confirmation, i use the tseries 15. as you might be able to tell, this chart is for swing trades or my favorites, the channeling stocks (which are swing trades --- duhhhh !)

the muddy "pullback from a reversal" chart i will have to send as a gif although its main overlays are the ema13 and the sma 20 which form a channel under a stock that is selling off after a rally. when the descending pps falls into or under this channel, one can expect the stock to have a very decent up day or two while being in the middle of a selloff. this usually happens around 4 - 6 days after the peak day of the preceeding rally !

my BUY charts remain as i have spoken about in the latest updates, although mine (because im constantly testing) have about 12 overlays on the chart and a bunch of things on the indicators --- enough so that one can hardly see the pps most of the time !

it will be nice when i can get rid of a dozen or so of them !

trade well
