![]() | Hmm. Cant remember now if I tried reopening it back then. It DID say it was expired. So you dont need a "key" I assume. Well, I think I'll try it again, when I get a chance. By the way, WHERE does it get the info, any particular site, can it be changed? By the way agin, mucho mucho mucho appreciation for all you have done with the Analyzer, the tutorials, ect ect ect. Nowhere else have I found anyone that SHARES the knowhow, experience and insight as you do!! Your one-of-a-kind in my opinion. You,stockhideout, and Quotetracker have made ALL the difference. You wouldnt BELIEVE how I was trying to "trade" before. lmao..you would not believe. Tnx agin |

![]() | MP -- THE ROWE SCANNER should work for you with no problems. the scanner gets its info from www.smallcapcenter.com and that information path is preset and not changeable. btw, read the help tutorial --- its utterly FABULOUS in its description of the muddy method (it works !!) also understand that when muddy was doing his original work, fibonacci retraces were not as popular and certainly MUCH harder to use, being hand drawn on each chart which was a royal pain. In this day and age, fibs do pretty much the same job as the muddy methods, but the method seems to be a faster way to scan for those secondary pops, bol bands walkers and the rest of his motly circus of trading stars ! good luck mp ====================================== Quote:

![]() | Percent of Resistance This is a "powerful link" , the mathematics of which are discussed at this link or look at marketscreen.com technical indicators for an explanation. The only other place I have seen it is a joint called something like Thewallstreettape.com. IDKS

![]() | MP -- DAYTRADING SIMULATOR hey, the scanner is just that -- a program that finds stocks that are moving within the technical parameters you set for it, while a simulator is a program that exactly (except for buying and selling --- and thats IMPT !) replicates a real time trading day, allowing you to make "simulated" trades as if you were really trading. two different animals entirely, and the simulator is a very good "graduation" step from paper trading. i dont know anything about this particular one, or if there is any cost involved but here is a free simulator that uses yesterdays trading info and is exactly the same as trading realtime (except the buys and sells are NOT the same as reality --- first, no partials AND you almost always get filled at your price, which does not always happen in reality) Anyway, try it ! http://www.schwabat.com/Platforms/SS...Simulator.aspx enjoy, and trade well mp Quote:

![]() | MP small cap scanner not working Hi. Anybody have trouble using the scds smallcap scanner today? When I scanned, for the first time ever in a month of using it I got zero results. Surely some stocks met the requirements of the 4 preloaded scans today? I re-loaded the software in case the copy had become corrupted and got the same ( zero) results. TIA |

![]() | MP -- SMALL CAP SCANNER Quote:
try clicking on "start scan" under the "scan" title on the header -- often if the program has not been used it gets lazy, mixes up when its supposed to scan and doesnt do anything. telling it manually to scan gets its attention and should keep you on the straight and narrow for a while. enjoy and trade well mp | |
