![]() | Monday AXTI (second try) $4.00 Yes, I have some at $4.50. No, I've never been in a stock that declined for 9 consecutive days. Yes, I bought back in at $4.04. Major sell-off over the last two weeks. I'm guessing that options were sold off. Anyway, I still think AXTI will bounce. $4.00 looks good to me. MACD is at a 3 year low, so it's either going to bounce nicely, or the bottom will completely fall out. In my opinion, the price change will be dramatic one way or the other. |

![]() | Wednesday NWD $1.46 OK, OK, yes, I'm putting NWD out there again. It is one of my favorites, so I'm convinced that is the reason why it's lagging. Earnings were OK, but nothing out of the ordinary to anyone following this stock closely. Peter Mak did reiterate that they do not anticipate any stock options free-for-all in 2007. Today's numbers looked great until you realized that there was really no change from 1Q 2006 aside from derivitives and options, hence the red .02. If Wednesday is a red day for NWD, there will probably be a pull back the remainder of the week. If tomorrow is a green day for NWD $1.45 might become the new support. Either way I anticipate at least $1.50's sometime in the next week or two. And yes, NWD will be one of the next big China stocks, in my opinion. |

![]() | Thursday NWD $1.23 Really, I hate to do this again. But, NWD at $1.23 does look good. MACD is about to break one way or the other (it continues a bullish move). And despite recently selling and a new 52 week low of $1.17 today, investors did soften the blow by buying up shares below $1.20 quickly. Institutional holdings are growing, the short shares percentage keeps dropping. Hold for the MACD crossover. Rebound starts next week. |
