July 28 update:
Expect earnings in 2 weeks. My 2Q EPS broad projection is $.04 to $.07 (I'll say $.06). I did not like watching this trade below $1.30 for the last 2 months, but now we are approaching NWD season. I am averaged in at $1.45 and I am not worried since CFO Peter Mak's stock options (to buy) are priced between $1.60 and $1.82. He doubled his money on his last options play, so a $3.00 to $4.00 share price is not unreasonable.

Techs:
Wilder's ADX indicates a trend change may not be too far away. The Chakin Money flow index indicates accumulation (however, I've noticed several small trades painting the tape over the last few months, so CMF is debatable). Parabolic SAR buy signal is in play. Having watched the time and sales and institutional holdings for the last three months, I would say this is the accumulation phase, definitely!

Funds:
Book price per share is at least $.88 or $.97 on the generous side. Trailing PE is 10. Short interest is 1/2 to 1-1/2 million shares depending or the source. Institutional holdings are increasing.

NWD breakout alert. It's back up to $1.30 from a low of $.93.

Assuming no negative surprises in 4Q/2007 results, you will see the PE (ttm) drop to a shocking 3 from today's PE (ttm) of 73.

NWD is now hideously undervalued at $.73.

Value plays always take time.

Another month to go for earnings. Although NWD finally got a half decent candlestick today, the first of 2008.

NWD is largely responsible for my StockHideout posting hiatus, as there is little to talk about with my large stake in NWD. I still think 2008 will be NWD's year to breakout to sustained PPS of +$2.00.

Investor relations campaign coming in 2008!!

Soybean Powder Power!!

New Dragon Asia Corporation Provides Operational Update: Financial News - Yahoo! Finance

New Dragon nets a customer who will buy 60 tons/month of the high margin soybean powder. Tomorrow should be the last chance to buy below $1.00 as an investor relations campaign begins and 2007 results near where the EPS (ttm) should skyrocket from +.01/share to approximately +.25/share as a result of the bloated options issued in 4Q 2006 being wiped off the ttm trail.

This will gap up on Friday.

In 2006, New Dragon claimed itself to be the 4th largest instant noodle manufacturer in China. How does this stock trade $.30 below book value?? It can't stay this low forever.
