NASHUA, NH--(MARKET WIRE)--Mar 13, 2008 -- QED Connect, Inc. (Other OTC:QEDC.PK - News), an innovative software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider for the information security market, today announced that general availability of its IM Manager product will begin in April 2008. Previously announced in February, IM Manager is a software tool that increases an organization's ability to manage instant messaging (IM) communications for productivity, security and regulatory compliance purposes. IM Manager records and archives all IM conversations taking place on company computers, laptops and wireless devices anywhere in the world.

In related news, QED Connect plans to introduce a remote access module for Omni Manager in Q3 2008. The module provides IT personnel with a central console for monitoring and managing remote access privileges and ongoing system usage. IT managers can assign specific remote access capabilities or restrictions to each employee on the system via the module's easy to use interface. Privileges include the time of day that a user can access the system, and to further protect sensitive information, the ability to define the specific file folders a user can access.
