| I have heard from XM subscribers who where going to change over to SIRI that XM gave them a huge discount from $13 a month down to $3 a month if they stayed for another year. Many of them are keeping XM for only $36 a year and are also getting SIRI for the sports & better music programming for $156 a year. If you tell XM that you are canceling because you are changing to SIRI you can negotiate a better price and get satellite radio for only $3 a month. Since SIRI is in the better position as of the last 2 months they will not negotiation a better deal and you will still pay $13 a month.
I will not be investing into XMSR anymore because anyone who is a subscriber can just call up and negotiate a better price; capitalism at its finest. |
